Happiness is defined as the state of being delighted and contented. It differs with every person and how he can find his own happiness. For me, I can find simple joys with dressing up. I always believe that if I can make myself look good, it will always liven up my mood throughout the day. Also, every detail of the whole outfit matters. Most especially with a pair of socks we are wearing, it should bring fun to whatever activities we are doing.
Last April 28, 2015, Happy Socks Ph launched its new sets of socks and their latest campaign, #100HappyActs in Staple and Perk Bakery in Eco Plaza Building, Chino Roces Ext, Makati City. I was actually a couple of minutes earlier than the scheduled time. I assumed that traffic will kill my happy vibes so I left my humble home as early as I can. As I arrived in the vicinity, everyone was asked to pick a pair, remove their shoes and enter the event's area. It was fun knowing that everyone was ready wearing a pair of happy socks which came in different designs.
The #100HappyActs aim was to share happiness by sharing 2 pairs of socks to your loved ones and by doing random acts of kindness to random people. This will help spread the good vibes of helping individuals in a best way that we can until it will become a habit.
I know you are curious on how Happy Socks was founded, let me tell you what I have heard from Jonathan Larrson (representative of Happy Socks from Sweden's HQ). Founder friends, Viktor Tell and Mikael Soderlindh visited Indonesia. Until one time, they started to search for a pair of socks on which they stumbled to a colorful one. As much as they wanted to purchase it but the price was way beyond their budget. As they headed back to Sweden. they decided to formulate and create a line of socks with colorful twists and designs and named it Happy Socks. Today, Happy Socks is now available in over 6000 fashion apparel boutiques in more than 70 countries. Furthermore, the brand creates 2 collections annually. The Fall/Winter set will be released on the first day of August while the other line will be seen on February 1 each year.
