I have been a sporty guy since my grade school days. I have tried a lot of sports like Basketball, Swimming, Lawn Tennis, Volleyball, oh just name it! Of all these sports that I have mentioned, I spent most of my time digging, ball passing, tossing and spiking. It was a painful experience at first because I always ended up having a lot of bruises as I arrived home, but the fun and friendship it brought were rewarding in the end.
The last time I played this sports with all my sweats were in was way back college during intramurals. I actually played as a Utility for FEU - Institute of Nursing (not the one cleaning an establishment, school or any buildings), the one that is called an opposite hitter or the sub-setter in case the tosser accidentally received the first ball. After the inter-institute, we always ended up grabbing our books and read a lot for tomorrow's long quiz or comprehensive exam. It was a tough student life I had but worth it.
One day my friend invited me to play with Volleybellas, they're a group that is mainly composed of both boys and girls ranging from Skilled to Pro Volleyball players. Every weekend we're having a series of practice plays, tune-ups and one-day leagues to test our capacities. They actually helped me regained my "player" skills and sharpen it every Saturday and Sunday. To be honest, it became my weekly routine and I am glad that it turned out to be my way of staying healthy and fit.
If you guys want to play with us, just let me know and give me a heads up. We are actually welcoming new people who are willing to share the same passion for this sport.
Thank you for dropping by!
