It was a breath of fresh air going back to my first love, Nursing. After I cut the connection with my previous workplace, I made it to the point to complete all the required refresher's courses I need. In span of 3 weeks, I am able to get 2 licenses enabling me being a competent nurse again. It may be shallow for someone reading this post, but it was a huge fulfillment for me.
I was once a volunteer nurse working in Quirino Memorial Medical Center, a tertiary public hospital catering people with different walks in life. I stayed there for 1 year and 1 month but chose to walk away. As much as I want to stay, but there were some good opportunities knocking at my door that time. It forced me to leave the hospital and checked what was in store for me with another line of work.
After less than 3 years, I tried a lot of jobs but did not get any satisfaction. The feeling I had nursing others was more worth it than getting works with good pays. I have learned in life that it was not about money, but it was how you will make a difference to someone else's life. It may sound cliche, but I found my life's fulfillment with my chosen profession. From this day on, I will try my best to care for people up to a far extent of my abilities.
