Going back to the old days when Instax-like units are as big as a single adult hand and snapping photos will take ages to come out of the camera and dry up are worth reminiscing. I personally never think that things will definitely become innovative looking at the latest units of what Fujifilm Instax Ph has in store for us.
Last December 6, 2014, the Instax Wanderland Launch was held in Vanilla Cupcake Bakery and Cafe in Trinoma in which cupcakes and sweet treats were overflowing. Also, the brand unveiled their newest colors plus the limited edition of Hello Kitty Instax Cameras that only came in 200 sets. As hosted by Paul Chuapoco and Nikita Conwi, the two made the afternoon's event well facilitated bringing up games to break the ice.
Takeda Maeda, the country's Division Head for Fujifilm Instax Ph gave a quick overview on how their units were conceptualized. The brand's idea started with High School Japanese girls needing a specific size of photos that will fill in the missing spot inside their notebook. This notebook served as their guide on school grooming and country's policy making it as their diary and doodle-like booklet. From there, the brand created these camera units with the capability to produce pictures that will fit inside their memo pads. These cameras became one of the must-haves craze by each student hitting not just Japan but the neighboring countries as well.
Their latest units came in different colors, styles and sizes that will definitely match your personality. If you are a preppy type of style enthusiast (present!) that always dig in plain colors either going on pastel, light or dark shades then the Grapes and Raspberry Instax Mini 8 will be a good deal for you! These 2 colors came in sleek matte-finish worth P3699.
For the sophisticated type of personality, the Instax mini 90 Neo Classic will be in your favor. Coming in a well-appealed Brown finish, this will be a classic on-the-go snapshot camera for dapper or debonair style fans. Each piece is worth Php 7999. My favorite camera so far!
For a wider scope and tripod-enabled camera then I recommend the New Instax wide 300. A camera that has a fill-in flash by flash-on button backlighting enhancing each photo. This is worth Php 6999.
For the big fans of Hello Kitty, I know you will love this limited edition of Instax that was presented by Fujifilm Instax Ph brand ambassador, Verniece Enciso. Not only because of its aesthetics but the camera has a 60mm lens feature that can easily move in/out and with a 0.37 real image viewfinder. Altogether with 0.6 focus range, it has 1/60 shutter speed and constant firing flash which has a range of 0.6-2.7 mm. This camera comes in a package worth Php 4999 which includes Instax mini Hello Kitty, neck strap, stickers and mini films.
One of the most enjoyable events I have attended so far. Cool products, cool people and cool ambiance. Looking forward to the next one!
