Bensimon (Dream it yourself, Do it yourself).

Two of the artistic aspects in me that I came short are the talents of drawing and designing. I really find it hard sketching, outlining or even make a real image of a single thing. Not until one day, I received an invitation from Bensimon Ph making a DIY pair of shoes. As regards for the label, it is renowned for its iconic style and sumptuous blend of colors, comfort and adaptability. A brand the merely focuses on its theme perfectly imperfect, a concept that celebrates the unique quality of a brand that combines the Parisian aesthetic with a long-standing tradition of quality and craftsmanship.
The event was held in Common Thread Store in Powerplant Mall in Rockwell. All of the style bloggers, media and popular celebrities raided the branch to create their own personalized pair. There were schedules based on the time you preferred to arrive and on my take, I chose the 5pm slot. I actually arrived a couple of minutes earlier and since it's best to be one of the early birds, I looked for the best spot to work on my pair of shoes. I did not have any idea on what design to make so I spontaneously created what was on my mind.
Right now, I will walk you through on how I came up with my shoes' design. Again, I am not that artsy-fartsy blogger that you know so please bear with the finished product that I have made at the end of this post. I am actually targetting a galaxy-related design but let's see if I can make justice on this sneakers.
I am very satisfied with the end-product for I do not have any same outlooks with some bloggers. Although their works were way better than mine, I am still contented on how my pair of sneakers looked like. Also, I had a chance to be featured on their facebook page (it is my first time) for the people who created their DIY shoes.
Also, if you want to be in the loop on the latest happening, promos and events of the brand then like their facebook page - Bensimon Ph. You can check their Instagram and twitter accounts (@bensimonph). Furthermore, if you want to check their shoes you may want to visit these following stores; Common Thread (Greenbelt 5 and Power Plant Mall), Rustan's (Gateway, Makati, Alabang Town Center and Shangrila), Center of Gravity (Burgos Circle and Centris Walk), Shoe Salon (Glorietta 3, Power Plant Rockwell, Shangri-la Plaza Mall and Trinoma) and Shoe Thing (Kids Styles only; BGC, Eastwood Mall and Greenbelt 5). The price ranges from P2095 - P2565 for both men'sand women's and P1295 - P1795 for the kids. For more details, you can log on to www.bensimon.com.ph.
Thanks for dropping by and I hope you enjoyed reading the entire post. Thanks too to Bensimon Ph for having me on their event. :)
